Research
Convene mechanistic and translational work linking radiation dose, timing and immune response.
International scientific society
SIRiiM is the International Society for Radiation Immunity and Immuno-Modulation. We convene the science of how ionizing radiation instructs, heightens and blunts the immune response — and we teach it to the clinicians who need it next.
Convene mechanistic and translational work linking radiation dose, timing and immune response.
Contribute to the field’s primary literature through IJRM-SSS, the open-access journal of the CureRays Institute, in partnership with SIRiiM (launching 2027).
Develop consensus definitions, endpoints and reporting standards for immuno-radiation studies.
Train primary-care and multidisciplinary colleagues in radiation immunity, not as a clinic brochure.
Education
These pathways sit on siriim.org — not nested under a clinic. They adapt the education work that first appeared as Institute pages, rewritten here as Society science.
The 0.3–0.7 Gy window, the COVID lesson, and why a discontinuous dose–response is a signal, not a gradient.
ScienceOut-of-field response biology: why it is rare, what would make it reproducible, and what we will not claim.
Meeting recordHow SIRiiM reads that meeting. Meeting abstracts are cited as abstracts — no invented DOI.
IndicationThe most mature benign indication in European practice, taught here as immunomodulation, not a product page.
PathwaysPrimary-care pathways: when radiation medicine belongs in the office, and when Institute clinician training is the next step.

Institute journal
Screening · Surveillance · Survivorship — The Orange Journal
IJRM-SSS (The Orange Journal) is the Institute’s open-access journal; its inaugural issue is in preparation for 2027. Research articles will undergo signed peer review. It will publish original research, consensus statements and critical review across the full arc of radiation medicine. It is the open-access journal of the CureRays Institute, in partnership with SIRiiM, and lives at theorangejournal.org.
Institute parent
Hands-on clinician training is offered by the CureRays Innovation & Education Institute (curerays.org), the parent 501(c)(3) of SIRiiM. The clinic (curerays.com) is not the parent brand, and this site is not a clinic site.
If you came from a CureRays page titled SIRiiM, you are in the right place now: the Society’s own site, at the root of siriim.org.
